they don't look special that's true but 2 goals past Portugal i would deem possible not to discredit their team at all some great players there, but the Netherlands team is fairly comprehensive.

to be fair Stekelenburg is a great goalkeeper even if he hasn't yet had such a distinguished career. As far as young(er) goal keepers go he's up there with Hart and Patricio.

And Nigel de Jong is a good defensive midfielder for the Netherlands too...not sure how he fares in the national team but at City he gets a great deal of affection.
