Lets get some perspective here. This isn't some kind of massive government order cover up with implications reaching around the world. It's a rock band asking if we can not discuss one person for a couple of months, in return for (what sounds like atleast) pretty cool stuff.

It's all well and good saying 'fuck the man' but is it really worth it? We're not exactly going to be discussing anything earth shattering about MSL.

I'm not that arsed anyway. If this place is uncensored and CD.com is, i don't see whats to stop everyone on here from trotting over and reading their 'exclusives'.

GNR are not going to give a website with a few thousand readers exclusive content before giving it to, say, Rolling Stone, who has millions of readers.

This forum has over 14,000 members. Of that, 8957 members have 0 posts. Of the 14K members, I would say less than 1000 members are active and keep up with the forums.

I bet there are less than 10,000 active readers of all GNR fan sites combined.

Compare that to Rolling Stone, Billboard.com, Guitar World, Classic Rock, etc who have millions of readers.
