considering the jokers appearance was based on "the man who laughs",youd have to say heats joker is the least like the original concept of the clown prince of crime(physically)

I loved the movie. I have never been big Heath Ledger fan, but he did amazing job as The Joker.  Best Joker I have ever seen. Jack Nicholson is great, but his Joker wouldn´t fit the atmosphere that Christopher Nolan created in this movie.

Before watching the movie I was little scared about Aaron Eckharts performance. I mean I had only seen him in some comedies and wasn´t sure if he was fitting to play Two-Face. In the end he did really good job with it. Two-Face and Joker talking at the hospital is one of my favorite sceens in that movie.
Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.

The Dark Knight Is the best movie Batman movie I have seen. Heath Ledger is just awesome being the Joker. Too bad he haven't got the chance to see his movie.

What are some of the special features?

The Dark Knight was amazing, really dark, gritty and realistic version of Batman, like a mash up between "The Dark Knight Returns" and "The Killing Joke"
Mathematical.

The special features are a tad disappointing by the sounds of things. I was really hoping for a commentary from Nolan, but knowing his distaste for that kind of thing, I'm not surprised. I'm more surprised that there's no feature about The Joker or Heath Ledger's contribution. Would've really liked a Two-Face featurette as well.

Anyways, here are der special features

Gotham Uncovered – how Christopher Nolan and his team developed the new Bat-suit and Bat-pod and composer Hans Zimmer musically characterized The Joker’s reign of chaos.
The Dark Knight IMAX® scenes: view these 6 action-packed sequences
Gotham Tonight - 6 episodes of Gotham Cable’s premier news programme
The Galleries: poster art and production stills

pitiful. The second highest grossing film of all time deserves better. I'd expect a better edition further down the road

Wtf? The news episodes could be mildly diverting, but how are you gonna fully enjoy an intended-for-3D video on a non-3D television? :?:

I think it was a feature made specifically for bluray but somehow managed to make their way on to the dvd release :?:
I'm also semi pissed off there's no documentary on the viral marketing campaign :disgust:
