That race was pretty much conclusive proof that F1 is at it's most fun when conditions are hazardous. The first half of the race was great, but when the track dried out it became much less interesting.
An empty shell seems so easy to crack.
Got all these questions.
Don't know who I could even ask.
So I'll just lie alone and wait for the dream.
Where I'm not ugly and you're looking at me.

I think they should water the track before every race.

Sepang is expected to be a wet race also.

Only wet quali in Sepang, but a very cool wet race in Shanghai!  :D

Schumi is not doing to great up until now. I did found new respect for Jenson though!  :O

I thought China was going to be Schumi's big break race but he was way off the pace. I think Ross will turn it around for him, they will throw everything at it to get the car the way he wants it. He was used to having the car built around him at Ferrai.

Jenson has gone up in my standings big time, he has won half the races so far and looks every inch the world champion. Hamilton looks great cutting through the field but Button doesnt need to do that because he has made all the right decisions. Looking forward to a dull Spanish GP as usual, but if it is dry it will be interesting to see if all the updates the teams usually bring to Spain has affected the top teams.

I have to admit I don't watch the races even though Michael Schumacher is like my second favourite athlete of all time.

The never-ending changes really ruined the experience for me. I used to watch every race of the season. It might also has something to do with the fact my champion hasn't been any good, even on a WET track.  :O

Something's missing. And I don't mean Schumacher winning but in Formula 1 in general. When they started doing all those adjustements about the engine, tyres, gasoline, qualification, points system it all went downhill.

Sometimes it seems as if they wanted to make Formula 1 more interesting but in my eyes they made it boring as fuck.

Well done Schumi, car doesnt have the pace but keeping Button behind him was very well done, Hamilton's crash at the end was the icing on the cake, he also beat Rosberg for the first time, nice to see him back  :banana

Senna was great and im taking nothing away from him but its a bit like Kurt Cobain, death has enhanced his rep. I perfer to deal in facts and figures and that's why I favour Schumi.

Of course this has nothing to do with the fact that I am currently in the process of stalking Schumi around Melbourne  :ninja:. I am determined to track him down and will be walking around the track tonight to see who I can spot. He is currently in Melbourne and I have many spies on the look out  :ninja:.

Senna was way better than Michael, only his luck gave him 7 trophies, before the incident Senna owned Michael.Look at the stats if you don't believe me.

I'm sorry but you cannot argue against Schumi when it comes to stats, its the one thing that man has on his side.

That is true, but I want to show you that his first trophie was in '94 when Senna died, if he didn't die I think michael wouldn't be a legent as he is now.

That's nonsense at it's highest peak.

Michael Schumacher finished his second season in Formula 1 in 3rd place, it was 1992. Ayrton Senna, at the time probably the best driver in the world, finished 4th.

In 1993, Senna was 2nd and Schumacher 4th. Not bad at all for a young driver. He wasn't exactly owned, I'd say it was a decent fight.

In 1994, Senna died in the third race of the season. May I remind you that Senna retired from both previous races and Schumacher won both. Michael went on to win 4 races in a row and become a champion.

Comparison:
Senna won twice in his second season in Formula 1.
Schumacher won once in his second season in Formula 1.
They both finished within points in their second race of their life.

By the time Michael Schumacher was 34 (Senna died at 34) he had more win, more championships, more points.
Schumacher won more races in one season, more points in one season.
Schumacher's got better percentage of wins. Schumager's got more podiums.
Schumacher's got more consecutive wins too...
He also owns record for wins on the same grand prix. He owned some even at the age 34. (before the "If Senna hadn't died, things would be different" argument starts)

When Michael Schumacher was already in the game, Senna didn't win a championship. He didn't exactly own anyone at that point, let alone Schumacher.

Before his retirement Schumacher even improved Senna's pole position record, which seemed unreachable a few years before.
'
You still wanna talk about stats? Don't make me laugh.

It's funny how people grow in the eyes of fans when they die. Nobody considers Alain Prost the best, even though he had better results than Senna. Funny, the one who dies is always "better" than the one who lives through it.
