Michael Schumacher also known as the "King" of Formula 1 has returned to the sport only this time gracing the colours of Mercedes, I do believe that even though he is considered to be old in the sport, he'll have the ability to challenge the "dream-team" of McLaren.

I´m actually suprised he decided to come back. By not coming back he could have reassured to be remembered as unbeateble and one of the if not THE best driver in history. Now there is danger that if the car is not good enough for him to win races all the legendary stuff will fade and he will be just another driver.

He had a level of consistency those two can never achieve, I fully expect him to be competing for the title by the end of the season

Lewis has the ability to be very consistent, he is probably the fastest driver in F1. Button is nothing to worry about, Lewis will be nr 1 in that team.

Alonso in a Ferrai will be very interesting, if Ferrai give him a good car then he has the talent to win, he won 2 world titles in a Reanult beating Schumacher into retirement in the process.

Brawn had a very poor end to the season, in fact they had a very poor second half of the season, it wil all boil down to the car they can give Schumacher. Ross will be pulling out all the stops to give him what he needs, if he can do that they he will be fighting it out with Hamilton & Alonso, Vettel will be in the mix also.

Mclaren & Ferrai had a poor season last season and they will have started developing this seasons car much much earlier than Brawn will have and as a result will have an advantage imo. Ferrai will also not want to be beaten by Brawn/Schumacher. Ferrai have also just completed building and revealed the worlds most advanced race simulator which will be of great use with the limited number of tests (it took 2 years to build). 

Overall, next season will be so interesting on so many fronts, I think it will be amazing, I hope Schumacher does win the world championship for an 8th time but I can see a 3/4 way battle against the big teams with ever point counting so he better get off to a flying start  :banana

I didnt go for the full weekend ticket, it was to expensive because I might be working and would miss the Thurday & Friday.

The race day ticket was $200 which is like 140 euro or something.

Hiopefully Schumi will be up & running by the time he gets to Melbourne. I cant wait for it to pop my F1 GP cherry, hopefully the concert after will be a good band too, might check that out if it is  :rockon:.

So now Briatore's and Symonds' ban from the sport is overruled by court. Strange that news articles lack specific reasons for this.

More Renault news: They announced a new team boss, former GP2 DAMS team owner and boss of the French A1GP team: Eric Boullier.

This might be increasing the chances that the Dutch-Chinese driver Ho-Pin Tung will be Renault's second driver this year, although Nick Heidfeld & Romain Grosjean also could get the seat.
