If they split into two championships then the sport will probably die. FIA have all the racetracks, FOTA have all the best constructors. It can't work.

They wouldn't get contracts for the big ones. The racetracks FOTA would get wouldn't be able to hold as many people, therefore less money, therefore sport less successful.

I don't fully understand everything, but splitting is definitely a bad idea. They should just fire Mosely instead.

I don't even watch F1 that much. The beginning and the end are the two most exciting bits of the race. The hour or whatever inbetween is just boring

I only really started paying attention when the British people started to win  :smirk:

If they would split the FOTA league would become the new F1 and the FIA will only have a shell, a sort of GP2+ championship without big drivers.

Circuits enough for FOTA:

Silverstone
Magny Cours
Imola
Indianapolis
A1 ring Zeltweg
Zandvoort
Zolder
Lausitzring
Laguna Seca
Jerez
Valencia (not the street circuit)
Mugello
Brno
Circuit Gilles Villeneuve Montreal
Adelaide
Buenos Aires
Assen
Aida
Dubai
Durban
Estoril
Kyalama

God Formula 1 is so boring now, its practically like watchin traffic, theres only a couple of overtakes a race now.
When Aryton Senna died, formula 1 started to die.

Although I am new here, I must disagree in some points here.
Formula 1 did some major changes in their rules, to make overtaking more possible.
i.e KERS which already been abandoned though, but the most major changes happened in tyres, and aerodynamics.
So that the car behind you can drive closer, without loosing too much grip.

And yes, Senna was the best driver ever, I have to agree.

By the way, did anybody happened to see what happened to Massa. Talking about bad luck...

What about that guy in amateur racing who died when a tyre came off and hit him in the head  :(

Me. I was deeply shocked. Still am. I'm a Felipe Massa fan and am sad. I've just learnt there's a fair change his left is damaged and that means it's over with Felipe's career as a driver.......
Last season he and not Hamilton deserved the title if that fucking Glock hadn't let pass Hamilton! It was only one point difference but Felipe won more races. But that were rules and rules are rules, sighs......I keep my thumbs for Felipe Massa. Please..... :'(

He is awake now but might not race again.

I think this defo means that Alonso will be going Ferrai next season. Interesting to see who they will get to replace Massa for the rest of the season, prehaps the test driver but maybe they will pull something out of the bag.
