Schumi would have won the champsion after just 3 races if he was still driving .

Keep Massa, drop Kimi and replace him with Vettal.

I've met Verstappen! How cool is that!

He was shit!

It isn't Raikkonen's and Massa's fault, the car really isn't good. But Schumacher would do better, I'm sure.
When there is rain Schumacher can win with ANY car out there - no doubt about it

1996 and 2005 seasons weren't all bad at all... in 1996 he won 3 times and finished on podium 4 other times too...
2005 was a bit worse, but the still finished the season on 2nd place...

That's something Ferrari can only dream of this year :(

He won 3 races in 1996, Raikkonen or Massa could as well still win 3 races or more. We only got 3 races yet, 15 to go.

And in 2005 he was third after Alonso and Raikkonen.

@Rds:

Kimi is way better than Massa if motivated. If Ferrari gives him a good car again he will win another title. At least he qualified decently last weekend with one of the heaviest cars of the grid, while Massa missed Q3 for the second time in a row.

Verstappen only had a good car in his first season when he was promoted to race driver to soon after JJ Letho crashed in pre-season testing. That car was completely build around Schumacher and the second car always got new parts later and less attention. Verstappen did manage to get 2 podiums in 10 races after all. He again showed his potential with great drives in inferior cars like the Simtek in 1995 and the Arrows in 1996. In 2000 he brought the Arrows to 4th and 5th places with great drives and in Malaysia 2001 in the Rain only Schumacher could stay in front of him.

If they won't do better in the next two races then they're gonna focus on the next seasons car.  :smirk:

That would be lousy! "You see Kimi and Felipe, you can drive in the midfield all year, then everyone will think that you 2 can't drive anymore"

Ferrari just has to fight back.

But I like the fact that things are shaken up this season.

Kimi qualified 8th because Hamilton & Beumi (cant spell it) had more fuel in there cars then him. Otherwise Hamilton would have been ahead of him. Massa also passed Kimi in the race as did most of the field come to think of it and was on for a good finish before his car gave up.

I think Kimi is done with F1, he won the championship and I dont think he is that bothered anymore. If Ferrai write off 09 I cant see him being there in 2010.

Massa got within 100m of winning the champsionship last year and is a good hardworking, honest driver. He's also quick as he was putting Schumi under pressure in his last season (Turkey springs to mind), something that Rubens or Irvine never did. Massa didnt get any points in the first 2 races of the championship last year but came good and I think he will again this season and finish higher the Kimi.

As for Verstappen he showed promise to begin with but later was only in F1 because he brought sponsors with him, which still happens btw. I remember him being gone for a few years and getting a drive in a Minardi I think because of the money he brought.

That's correct. He brought Trust as a sponsor.

He did manage to take provisional pole on friday during the French GP of 2003 (when the qualifying was split in friday and saturday)

Yes, and the owner is a big attention whore who badmouths every driver he used to sponsor afterwards.

Now they sponsor Red Bull.

Yeah, he is from Limburg, the same Province of the NL where I come from. Been following him since he debuted in 1994, he made me watch F1. I always loved his pure speed in the Rain, great starts (moving up from 18 to 6 in 2001 for instance  :D) and no-bullshit mentality. Unfortunately he would always say what's on his mind, making him not the most popular drivers among the team bosses.

Last year he won every race, but one in the Le Mans Series 2, including the 24 hours of Le Mans in his first season in GT racing.  :)

Unbelievable that he can't race for Peugeot or Audi this year in Le Mans Series 1..
