Glock kept going on his old tyres, while all the other drivers went in for new ones. Once you keep going too long in those conditions the tyres wear off really fast. Glock also lost his place to Vettel just moments before..

Vettel was very fast and passed Hamilton with the same tyres as Hamilton had (for dry circle)...
Glock had tyres for wet circle, but if you look the camera from Hamilton's car a few turns before, he didn't come any closer to Glock while in the last 2 turns he beat him for 3-5 seconds....
No matter the tyres, you cannot lose your speed like that.
Hamilton has 3 cars in front of him and doesn't get any closer until the last two turns where he passed one of them - that is Glock. You'll see Glock in Mclaren in about 2-3 years
