It's gonna be close, but I expect Vettel with Red Bull to win in Bahrain. Let's guess some more: Hamilton 2nd, Alonso 3rd, Schumacher 4th, Button 5th, Massa retires.

Many ex-drivers and commentators are saying that red bull would be pretty fast, and that they have achieved results over any other team...

One intresting point is also McLaren. Exspecially this weekend, since they way they made their car to adjust the airflow at the back of the car. Here is the picture I found. unfortunately the text isnt in English.

Red Bull protested against McLaren's rear wing. I don't think the FIA will ban it though. Innovation should not be punished, but encouraged.

The new teams will just be driving chicanes for the others. Looks like the beginning of the end for the F1 careers of Trulli, Kovalainen & Glock. Only rookies have something to win in a car at the back of the grid.

Still, I think the other teams are still not showing their true colors. Force India won't be THAT quick tomorrow. Sauber's probably practicing with race day fuel load some more. I can't believe they're so far behind while they did really well in testing.

Feel really bad for Vettel. He drove a great race but the failings of Red Bull strike again. With the season going to so tight Red Bull cant afford to have many problems like this, it could cost him come the end of the season. Great to Massa back to his best.

Schumacher had a solid race, he had good enough pace throughout but lacked any really pace to allow him to challenge the cars above him, a few more races to get rid of the rust & a few updates on the car and Rosberg & Schumi should be fighting it out for podiums  :banana.

Sauder clearly were testing on no fuel in order to make themselves look good to attract sponsors, they were miles off the pace today. 

Overall I hate the ban on refueling, It made the race dull imo and it takes the excitment & mystery out of finding out the teams strategy's during the race. It is all about managing the tyres now.

What a boring race  :disgust:

I felt also sorry for Vettel. Good thing he still managed to finish as 4th. Let's see how long it will take before they change the rules again. Adding a extra obligatory pitstop for instance. Fuel and tyre saving is boring! We're not watching endurance racing!

I agree, it was a boring race. I almost fell asleep at one point. :lol:

I know that Ferraris are good, but they wouldn't have gotten to 1-2 without Vettel having problems. You sure should've seen my granny's face when she saw Alonso was first. I also think that Kubica could've finished higher if it wasn't for that little incident on the first lap. I didn't really expect Renault to have the pace they did.

Too bad that most of the newcomers had to retire. They all could use the experience.


If every race is gonna be like this then I think I have found the cure for my sleeping problems. :nod:

It's the early nineties all over again with those wonderful driving chicanes like Forti, Pacific, Lola, Simtek and Larousse.  :lol:

At least Lotus managed to have cars that can actually race for more than 20 laps!

I had to watch the repeat due to the night before. Even the shortened repeat was boring as hell and made me almost fall asleep.

I guess I'm the only one that liked it that Alonso won and Massa second? I'm all alone with my love for the Spanish hothead? I can't stand Vettel and I don't know why exactly....:ninja:

Loved the new longer cars! I start over with my first race: Melbourne as I always loved it to be. I don't judge anything about the new rules after I'm sure how it and if it works better.
