Buy it damn you

But if you must, try Revelations, can't go wrong dude.

But Persecution might be a bit more appropriate I think, VERY well done!

i listened to it twice and thought it was an overly pretentious pile of shit.  Maiden has always and will always be better than Priest.

It was meant to be epic, and taking it as it is, an over produced double album full of Priestly goodness, I fucking love it. That said, I love everything Priest did, with the exception of Turbolover, haha..

Why bring up Maiden? :?:

The thing about these bands is; Maiden are a band who don't evolve, they've been making the same music, bar a little more of a proggy sound now, for like, 30 fucking years! Why break what's not broken yes? I love Maiden too man, But Priest have tried several different sounds, some work, some don't, and to me they almost come across as power metal for this, and at the end of the day, at the very least, as long as Halford can still scream his arse off, Priest are Gods.

you were expecting a few radio friendly hits?

The album as a whole flows perfectly with some really good stand out songs like
Revelations, Pestilence And Plague, Alone, New Beginnings.

And as for the Maiden thing, remember when they tried a concept album?
If you do, then you might remember just how bad an attempt it was.

Oi!! Maiden's 'Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son' is one of their best albums!  And the majority of fans i know appear to agree so! (It didn't go to number 1 for nothing....)

Good choice on putting bold on Alone, that song is fucking great

It is really encouraging to hear them make great music at this age, means their gig will be all the fucking better! ;)

Someone said this would be their final album did they not? Priest fans correct me PLEASE!

since the leaks distracted me from giving a review...i essentially stand by what i said originally.  a few very good standout tracks, but overall if i want a concept record by a NWOBHM band, i'll take Seventh Son any day.
