Calm down everyone. I'm pretty sure Rose Hudson means the original album, not the re-recorded version. Besides, the re-recorded version isn't even mixed. I'm 99% sure it was never intended to be released anyway.

Yeah fuckin Re-Release it for sure!!! Get all these kids that are on all that techno rap emo crap and reform them back to Rockin Hard Core again! It's good, it's loud and it should never be forgotten. My 10yr old son knows it and loves it! Give the kids quality, not crap.....Who gives a crap what the boys are all doin now, just show the kids these days that there is more to music than crappy fuckin re-mixes!!

The version of Sweet Child was obviously meant to sound as though it seamlessly fit into a live version of the old band, if he was trying to recreate it, I think it would be incredible, so don't judge the re recording ability the band would have based on a recording meant to sound live :s

 In the late 90's early 2000's Axl and the "new" GNR started to re-record the album. Axl wanted a more modern version of the album. The record company was against it and the project was scraped.

there was no project axl MADE the band re-record the album to prepare for the tour as he and the band members have stated
