As I said in other topic
I wouldn't , "Appetite for Destruction" is classic 80s album , it has the spirit, rawness, energy of 80s inside I doubt re-recorded version could capture it, after listening to that "SCOM" in parts re-recorded it is too smooth , too many effects etc. It's good for certain songwriting, but changing old style songs inot new style is bizzare. Axl proved he can write awesome songs with new band and he doesn't need all material to show that he is genious.
Also if Chinese Democracy will be a success , younger persons listening to that crap like Flat out Boy, Lostprophets, All-American Rejects and other shitty bands "trying" to rock will reach for older GN'R CDs.
What I would like to hear re-recorded from AFD would be "Nightrain" (that Buckethead solo in live version gives me thrills if someone have cleaner version of that song/solo please give me a PM) and "Paradise City"
