so faR i have not found any proof that axl has mentioned it (its a little known song most people dont watch credits so it was incredibly hard to find) but it was released the same time as oh my god on the end of days soundtrack and it clearly states in the credits that it was in fact guns and roses. buy the movie and check it out if you don't belkieve me asda has in for sumat stupid for like 3 quid. and also it was not released on the movie soundtrack just the movie itself so guns mustv'e not wanted the song releasing just put out to hear fans thoughts on it or sumat. if you want the track and have no youtube to mp3 software got to this site it completley free and easy to use http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/Free-YouTube-to-MP3-Converter.htm

anyway enough questions about the song answer the main questions (now that i have explained that song) do you think appetite should be re-released by the new band

Axl and GN'R re-recorded whole AFD , with Buckethead on the guitar though so they would have to re-record it with Bumblefoot. also if Robin Finck work is prominent they would have also to re-record it and Axl isn't good at re-recording anything

why re-release "re-record" one of the greatest albums of all time with basically hired musicians that had no part in putting the album together.  should van halen re record 1984 when they had sammy hagar,  paul mccartney re record the white album  with wings, etc.  leave a masterpiece alone.

As I said in other topic

I wouldn't , "Appetite for Destruction" is classic 80s album , it has the spirit, rawness, energy of 80s inside I doubt re-recorded version could capture it, after listening to that "SCOM" in parts re-recorded it is too smooth , too many effects etc. It's good for certain songwriting, but changing old style songs inot new style is bizzare. Axl proved he can write awesome songs with new band and he doesn't need all material to show that he is genious.

Also if Chinese Democracy will be a success , younger persons listening to that crap like Flat out Boy, Lostprophets, All-American Rejects and other shitty bands "trying" to rock will reach for older GN'R CDs.

What I would like to hear re-recorded from AFD would be "Nightrain" (that Buckethead solo in live version gives me thrills if someone have cleaner version of that song/solo please give me a PM) and "Paradise City"

You no when Axl dies it'll come out in boxsets and stuff. Until then i don't expect AFD 2000 to see the light of day ever in my personal opinion. I think he wouldn't want to hurt his ego because it would be slammed by the critics even if the fans loved it.

he has 50 songs of new material I'd rather hear that and more new albums than re-recording , I know that "Chinese Demoracy" won't match AFD but no other rock album since has done it in my opnion.
But what I've seen that there are a lot of persons waiting for it - on music websites and forums there are a lot of GN'R topics (not counting fan sites of GN'R, for example ultimate-guitar forum has about 400 pages long topic about GN'R ) so I think it should sell in millions , c'mon VR "Contraband" sold 4 milions , RHCP "Stadium Arcadium" which was 2CDs (so more expensive) sold 7mln , I think Chinese Democracy could easily sell in 5-8millions which would be great.
Right now I'd rather get "Chinese Democracy" - then see them live touring new material and realesing concert DVD.
