« on: February 20, 2008, 12:20:42 PM »
i have never tuned anything but half step down... and now there is a song i wanna play (tnt-ac/dc) that i wanna play and the tunning is: E,A,D,G,B,E
so my question is, how do i tune my guitar this way with a korg tuner?

just tune every string half note up.

you do know how notes go ??

A A# B C C# D D# E F F# G G# etc.

so tune D# string  E
G# string  A

When all is said and done...

E, A, D, G, B, E is standard tuning. Just don't tune a half step down. Grab a tuner and tune accordingly.

play the second string in the sixth fret and tune the first string like the second string(but at the sixth fret)
then, you do that in all the strings except for the second stringl, for that string you do the same thing but you play the third string in the 5th fret
