What If Use Your Illusion Took This Long To Make?

I was just wondering about this yesterday- if the Use Your Illusion records  took 13+ years to make such as how Chinese Democracy has, and if they were released after 13 years souding the exact same as the records actually do, would you say they represent 13 years of work?

My thought is that the leaks from CD are very similar, musically and wsong-writing wise, to some of the songs on the UYI records. So, if UYI had taken 13 years to make and ended up sounding the way the did in 1991, then would you say they represent 13 years of solid work?

if UYI took this long i think that 14 years would be a much more popular song :P and that there would be a lot fewer G'n'R fans. this wait has had many say fuck it and move on to other bands, imagine if there were two of these long ass waits. And lastly, if UYI took this long than i think it should have been a lot better than it was. Don't get me wrong UYI is great but lets face it, it could have been better.

i think, if it was realesed now..even under extreame circumstances you got to know theres gonna be small differences... like, idk some of the 90's sound will be a bit more modern...like the synthorchestra in november rain would probably be a real orchestra...i mean this like how the original SCOM sounds all 80's but newGNR's demo of it sounds very modern...

if it did sound exactly the same, then it wouldn't be worth it..unless, say they managed to get as popular as they were in the 90s without realesting anything ? because the hype makes alot of stuff sound better. and idk how UYI could have CD-esque hype without having the original reales

so withthat said, i'm just saying yes it would be worth it.

Yes, but it wouldn't been waited for fans because during the UYI era was when they got most of the fans GNR has (and the AFD fans would have gone already). It would be worth it for the simple fact that the UYIs are great, no matter the release year nor the long it would have taken to be finished.

1. The original band would have left a while ago
2. GNR would have been a 1-album wonder
3. The band would have been dropped from the label back in 97 at the latest
