Although Waters has been tight-lipped about the album's contents, he told Rolling Stone in February that he has drawn inspiration from the antipathy he feels toward the Trump administration, as well as a dramatic radio play he had been writing before working on the LP about a man and his granddaughter investigating why children were being killed in faraway lands.

No surprise here really...

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph newspaper, he said: "Dave and I are not mates, we never were and I doubt we ever will be. Which is fine, there's no reason why we should be."

Further discussing the Pink Floyd dynamic, he added: "I love Nick. And he loves me. We were always close. But you can be creative without being friends. David and I did a lot of great work together, which wouldn't exist without both of us being there."

"There are several songs that are close to being complete, which didn't make it onto this album," he says in the clip. "[But] I can't see myself doing another tour with making another album first, and that takes me awhile. It took 10 years last time, and I'm really hoping – without making any promises – that it won't take 10 years this time, that I'll get back in and start working again. And following that, yeah, I'll be out again."

F this weather. How was the movie?

Yeah well, the weather was awful.  :yuck We even had to get a taxi to reach the cinema from a nearby shopping mall, because my female friend wouldn't like to walk in this wind & rain...
When the movie started, we got to see the same kind of weather, to my surprise!  :O
That's because it starts with some "behind-the-scenes" stuff from band rehearsals in Brighton, UK!
Then they fly to Italy and you get to see a little bit from the soundcheck/building etc., before the concert begins. As you would expect, picture and sound quality are very good. The concert in this setting was of course special. It was good to hear some of Gilmour's solo songs plus old Pink Floyd classics. (To be honest, I'd have preferred "Fat Old Sun" instead of "Sorrow", which I always found a bit long-winded... But apart from that, no complaints!)

My pleasure. I will have no hurry though about buying the dvd (or whatever), if at all. I'm sure it will be fine (plus bonus tracks I guess), but I saw it now and I don't watch concert films very often...
