I know it slighty over your budget but, for £350 if you look round carefuly enough, you could pick up a second hand Marshal AVT150 halfstack which is what I have... Its pretty kool, has 4 channels, Acoustic Simulator, Clean, OD1, OD2, and has a few built in effects, which are quite nice, gives of some nice sounds too obviously :D

Modefour is solid state also. DSL and JVM ftw.
