does anyone know (apart from the band themselves) what drugs the new gnr are on...i know at manchester 06 i was at the front and i cud tell richard was stoned as a motherfucker...id just like to know if anyone knows

obivously just pot, drugs get harder to handle as you get older and somone as old as Axl couldn't handle coke anymore (i'm guessing)

Well according to my sources, there was no shortage of coke floating around backstage at the Edmonton concert in December. These guys may not be the little saints you think they are (at least SOME of them).

Who did that ever stop? Also, with someone like Axl, how many people do you know that were former crack heads or coke fiends? They say they stopped, but if you are at a party and someone has it they do it. May not do it for another month, but they still do it if they are drunk.

I imagine it is there. Not anywhere near what it was in the past though. I would say the only thing that may occur often is pill popping of some form. A tour can wear you out after a few nights and they may be taking shit to keep them going.

they might smoke a joint here and there, but i can't see axl's tolerance being very high for that shit after what he's put up with over the years. maybe that's why buckethead "left" lol.

When I was backstage with them they all seemed pretty mellow, heaps of booze but none of them were really "drunk"

Dizzy didn't seem too fucked but his hands were shaking?? had the nicest big blue eyes I've ever seen! Did ask about a release date but they just laughed maybe they don't know themselves....was spinning out too much when I got to meet Axl, wasn't on my list of things to ask.

I'd be suprised if they did hard drugs, probably they would do pot but coke after all the shit that Axl said about how it fucked him up and that being one of the reasons the original band broke up. Also the familiy ties alot of these guys have now, i would lose alot of respect for them if it was true they were doing coke and all that shit when most of them have kids under the age of 5 i believe.
