http://www.rockingrooster.co.uk/product_info.php?PID=118 i play through a lin6 spider 3 and i'm thinking about getting a fbv shortboard rather than just the crappy line 6 footswitch, but ive heard that if you attach another pedal to it that automatically controls volume, is this true? because i also want a good wah, and i doubt the shortboard wah is anything special?

Are you gigging this? If not, why do you want a fancy footswitch? If so, why are you gigging a spider?

Sell the amp and use the money with the footswitch money and save up to buy a better amp.

I picked up a roland cube 30 the other day, great little practice amp by the way, and I saw in the shop a line 6 spider 3 2x12 combo was £340, you can buy a marshall dsl401 for that!

Friend of mine bought a DSL401 yesterday. Fucking great amp but the stock speaker is a bit meh. Easily replaced with a V30, and you have a killer little combo.

I've heard that about them. I've seen youtube clips and it sounds pretty damn good. I'm pondering trying to find one used, simply because next year when I go into music college it'd help for me to have something decent to record with. I'm know amazing guitarist, but it could it could be very useful.
