Taking the stage at almost midnight doesn't help. It piss everybody's off, the staff, the band, and the fans...
Sure throwing beers sucks, but if Axl had taken the stage earlier, this would have never happened.

Yeah, if my parents hadn't changed their migration plans the last minute I would've been an australian lad. (no, joking) At least I would've been able to get a tan during the summer, but now I'm stuck in Belgium. :)

Ok just to clear up a few points:

1. Baz played an amazing set, and told the blonde chick next to me who kept flashing her tits at him to come back after the show.

2. Axl was hit with a large cup of WATER (not a can or bottle as Ive already read). He warned to stop the show, because "I dont have to be here" is what he said. He restarted WTTJ and then was lifeless for the first 3-4 songs.

3. Axl brough Baz back on for My Michelle to which the crowd went bezerk. Axl seemed to enjoy it too and was in a much better mood after this. Smiling and having fun with the crowd and shit.

4. I dont know how many drugs Stinson took tonight but I hear there's a shortage in Brisbane now...

5. Overall the last half of the show was awesome, and the close with Paradise City had the place thumping. And as mentioned, Axl did the Aussie-Oi chant at the end.

More will probably come to mind later, but this needs to be cleared up NOW. And yes, I was there.

Being as he's been doing the same thing for a good 20 years, why do people go to watch GN'R only to be appauled at ten to 9 that Axl's not on stage?

Baffles me. It's like going to a GN'R concert and storming out because they didn't play Ace Of Spades, it's just not something they do.

Axl being hit sucks, but its the most exciting thing I've read from the tour.  DO you know where the fuck you are! SPLASH.  Something random that I wouldn't have predicted.  Poor Axl.
