some review from a fan from HTGTH....the bolded part i put in is HILARIOUS

I've now been to 3 of GnR's Aussie shows (Adelaide and 2x Melb) and it was great that the 3rd was a little different.

Just some quick notes:

Axl cracked a joke saying "when I get home i'm gunna rip Kylie Minouges panties off........cause they are squeezing my balls" which cracked me up
.

It was awesome to hear Rocket Queen and seeing Axl riding around on a red push bike during it was a cool/bizzare moment.

They sung a bit of happy birthday to Dizzy as well.

I was to Axl's left close to the stage and I could see Del James watching the 2nd half of the show with Sebastian Bach. Sebastian then was handing vip passes to some chicks infront of us (2 hot...one questionable, hope she doesnt post here  Grin)

I was a little dissapointed they didnt play Chinese Democracy again but I had heard it twice and it was great to hear Rocket Queen.

I thought more ppl were singing along with the new songs more than the other shows.

Also, did i miss something with handing out of condoms to the crowd??

Anyways that was the last show I will see of the Australian tour but I can say its been some of the best days of my life. Finally seeing GnR live has been a dream come true

What are you talking about. You should understand by now when you watch webcast the synch can be off from the feed and the audio.  Its IMPOSSIBLE that axl lip synchs since he always changes lyrics around and sounds different at every show

i believe he met taht unlike in the studio version when he sang it at Rio..he sucked lol

Sorry, my camera was confiscated early into Baz's fucking set, even though he gave us permission to record, but the bike was like a big ass red dragster I guess you could say, and the wheels were fucking huge, like they looked like 4 inches wide haha

It was an amazing show.. Rose Tattoo were fucking brilliant, I didn't think it could get better, than Baz absolutely blew them away, fuck he is an energetic prick, gives it his all every night looks like, then Axl came out after an extremely long Baz set and fucked him over haha.

Rocket Queen was definitely the track I wanted, and then bam! She's jumped into the set. It was pretty much perfect, Axl's fucking voice was spot on! Every new song they played got a great reception from the audience, though I was the only one singing to them haha.

My highlights were in Welcome to the Jungle, I was front row, I screamed out 'RON THAL!!!!' and threw my fist in the air, and the bastard actually acknowledged it and pointed at me and smiled, it was fucking great, and then right at the end of the show he came down to the barrier and let us strum during Paradise City, I had a crack ;) Gave him a big pat on the back for you Dark Angel! Easily the most crowd friendly member of the band.

T'was Dizzy and Tom Mayhew's birthday so we did the whole birthday thing, was absolutely the best concert I have ever/ever will attend.. It just didn't let up, they were relentlessy powerful all fucking night, and any, and I mean ANY doubts with Axl's voice in my mind are absolutely gone! He started to weaken right at the end with Madagascar, but it was still the most powerful voice in rock people!

Oh, and they gave us complimentary condom's after the show :D Mine were chocolate flavoured!

I played his fretless if that's any help! Or maybe it was his flying v.. Well I played one of 'em haha. I tried my best to rip it away from him, but the security was pretty ferocious, and I ain't the biggest guy. Ron is the kindest guy.. I shoulda grabbed the pic he had in his mouth!!!

And who says the new guitarists don't have stage presence? They were always moving into different positions, dancing doing all this random shit, I found myself watching the guitarists just as much as Axl, who happens to have a whole fucking lot of stage presence let me fucking tell you. He is the best performer... Fuck I loved it!!! Still haven't slept haha.

Sound mint.

I was at the first show onthe 15th.

Cracked me up after Ron's guitar solo (he played Don't Cry) Axl walks out and goes, "Enough of this gayness"

Haha when Baz came out he said something along the lines of 'Baz says he's influenced by every gay musician in history and I'm trying to put it nicely, he didn't say it in such nice words' it was something like that and I nearly pissed myself. The Kylie joke wasn't bad, was great to see Axl interacting with the crowds, cos people seem to be saying he's looking a tad uninterested these days which is utter BULL SHIT.

Sorry for not having pictures, we made it past metal detectors, but my baby was taken after 'Big Guns' by Baz.
