Hammersmith Apollo - One Year On!!

It's hard to believe that it was a year ago this week that this gig happened!! 
It was an experience that I nor anyone else who was there that night will never ever forget!! It was my and I'm sure more than a few others who were there first experience of a GNR concert. I'll never forget the build -up and the anticipation between Avenged Sevenfold finishing up and then the joyous sound of the intro tape and the opening chords of WTTJ. Fantastic stuff!! I was overcome with emotion and hysteria right through until the final confetti shower at the end.
I'll never forget chatting to and meeting Ron after the gig as did many others that night and to top it all off the near miss of meeting Axl himself just before he went into the club for the after-show party!! 
I repeated the GNR live experience in Dublin a few days later, but that night in London was absolutely magical!!

it was either watch VR or go home early and prepard for a job interview im doing the latter boo.

last year was amazing. I went with a cast on my broken foot and hobbled there on crutches it was so fucking worth it. I though shit was going to go down when some ass hole through beer over axl but he just carried through the set.

As cool as hammersmith was i reckon they got better later in the summer. I thought the shows they played in sweden for example sounded better than hammersmith but hey it was a night i'll never forget.

Next stop Euro Star to catch VR in Paris
