Adler talking shit about GN'R on radio

Don't know if this is old, but I'm listening to ''The Rock Radio'' via iTunes.
And out of the sudden right after some AC/DC song, you get Adler talking about GN'R.

This is what he said (Not the exact words)

''GN'R were just 5 guys putting a record out.'' then he says something about all 5 of them writing for GN'R
''When this Chinese Democracy thing comes out and he sells 20.000.000 copies and goes gold he's just lucky''
''He doesn't like what I'm doing, but I don't give a shit''

It was something like that, Adler sounded STONED/DRUNK/WASTED and what else, I don't know if it's old but he didn't sound possitive at all about this GN'R.

He was a great drummer but nobody takes him seriously anymore which is sad but true

I disagree with you, if they'd had Matt Sorum on AFD I don't think the album would of been half as good, Steven Alder plays some really cool stuff on that album like the begining of Rocket Queen and the cow bells and stuff, so in that regard I think he was a great drummer, not technically I admit but he had his own groove, just my opinion.

I always found him like, very weird, like he was drumming without paying attention, just not knowing what he was doing behind those drums.

Adler is a waste of space junky who was thankfully left behind by GnR. All of the guys are clean now, even Slash, but Adler continues to waste away into obscurity. He really needs to grow up and realise that Axl isn't his enemy, his biggest enemy is himself.

i think Adler still does drugs, i saw him on one video, he is the second ozzy, the same kind, wasted by drugs...never liked him....even if he is clean, what i doubt, he is useless......

Steven Adler is one of the worst drummers ever to pick up a pair of sticks and it's a god damn miracle his crappy playing didn't soil the glory that is AFD.

That comment was made a few years ago, when he was touring with the band Adler's Appetite.

Dont you guys remember the latest interview with Adler, saying he and Axl had talked all night over the phone and had patched things up??  Be happy for two old friends burying the hatchet...  let bygon-s be (spelling?)

i seriously doubt adler would ever be welcomed back into GNR again on a full-time basis, save maybe a reuinion show of Rock n Roll HOF, etc.

With the humble difference that Ozzy has / had charisma and I could name at least six records of Mr. Osbourne that rule. What did Adler do besides of GNR?  :paranoid:

I agree that AFD wouldn't have been the same with Sorum and without Adler, but he's still nothing to write home about.
And the downward spiral of self destruction that he is on is quite sad to watch, that and playing live with GN'R cover bands, seeing as he is such a great guy.
