Do you belive that you have a soul? Like a sprit that lives inside you or what ever, explain what you put into it.

nope,

everyone is just muscles, bones, bloods and water - with different thoughts and ideas and appearances.

imo anyway.

Yes, I pretty much agree. People may think that their ''soul'' is their personality, but you're your brain, and your DNA imo.

I don't think most people really have thought about the expression, and just use it for what ever.

It really depends on how you define the soul.

I would define the soul is an emotional or physical response to an event then much of this is controlled by anatomy and physiology of the human body. Then again there are hundreds of studies on identical twins and feral children that show that personality traits can be a result of upbringing.

What has always interested me is addicitve behaviour. That is probably where biology and psychology meet and for me that is indicative of where the true soul of a person lies. Some people have the ability to become easily addicted to substances while others can start something and then give it up.

Then again the soul could just be something from a Disney film that makes us all believe that we are somehow special little snowflakes, when we are actually just carbon, water etc.

I think that has more to do genetically, but then again, you could always wonder where the expression came from.

What happens to your ''soul'' when you die? I think that's the question...if you belive that there's a soul remaining, or if you don't belive in such things.

You tell me you're an unbeliever
Spiritualist? Well me I'm neither
But wouldn't you like to know
The truth
Of what's out there to have the proof
And find out just which side
You're on
Where would you end in Heaven or
In Hell?

Help me. Help me to find my true
Self without seeing the future
Save me, save me from torturing
Myself even within my dreams

There's got to be just more to it
Than this
Or tell me why do we exist
I'd like to think that when I die
I'd get a chance another time
And to return and live again
Reincarnate, play the game
Again and again and again

Maiden lyrics, yeah kinda cheesey but thats basically my feelings on the subject.

well i ain't one of these people who lives my life by facts and figures and "Proof"... that bores me. i like to think theres more to life then just being here once, die and thats it.. theres nothing. i like to think that we have something inside us that has been somewhere else in time, thats ben in another being. hell i do believe i've been here before. and i believe i'll be here again. i have no proof of this, there is not factual base but hell living by facts and proof must be boring and i find alot of people who do are usually very boring to talk to.

when you're dead, you're dead.  worms and bugs eat your body and you turn into dirt and dust, thats it, no soul, no heaven, no hell, no afterlife.

just my opinion of course.
