Fernandes Guitars?

So, I saw an add for Fernandes guitars in a magazine the other day and it had Dave Kusner in the add, I always thought the guitar he used was pretty kick ass looking and I checked the Musican's friend and the guitars got pretty good ratings but has anyone here actually played one? How's the sound/feel?

They are just like any other guitar company... they have some shitty ones but they also have some pretty well made guitars.

Now you know why Velvet Revolver sounds so much like shit...  Just kidding.

depends on what wood is used and what grade of wood is used.

you can't really claim that a maple strat sounds worse
than one made of plywood ;)

I've got a Fernandes Ravelle, it sounds bad-ass, similar to a Les Paul, but meatier and cheaper since you're not paying for that Gibson name badge

oh, and the sustainer pick-up is a lot of fun

Just saw this thread but I used to play a fernandes vertigo.  I liked it alot whenever I had it.  I had absolutley no complaints..... until the head stock broke! God was I pissed.  It played similar to a gibson neck and had an excellent sound too... maybe someday I'll buy a new head stock.
