i'm pretty sure the official figures show that over half of all americans are obese, so 60% wouldn't be far off.

yeah but probably 90% of old people are overweight/obese anyways and they shouldn't count cause they are old
obesity.orgGot my wording wrong. 60% are overweight and 31% are obese. However, the survey is five years old so you can add another 5%-25% of the original figure to get something roughly correct for nowdays.
