Finck has came a long way since RIO with NR.  I really disliked RIO NR too....

Finck kicks ass....   if I can relate my style of playing to any of them, it would be Fincks..... he has great feel & a very artistic ear!


btw.. this was the last thread I visited being I don't compare guitar players, they are all different in there own right.

Compare Bucket's atonal shredding in Rhiad to Finck's well-constructed, thought-out, fucking awesome solo in Blues.

Better at playing other people's solos?  I guess I really don't care.

Is it just me or does Buckethead not really do much?  I mean, most of the time I see him, he's idly standing wating for a solo fill or something.  BH is a great player but not to much of an active participant.  Thats why I vote for Fink, he's always active and I think hes got a great underrated style.  He is definitely the driving force out of the guitarists IMO.

I think that Buckethead is a more technically skilled guitarist.  When Bucket is playing the original solos, Finck can't compete.  Finck does have a sloppiness which is cool.  I voted for Finck when it comes to new solos.

I think Finck has a  lot more emotion even if he is a lil choppy-he still tries to improvise.Buckethea d is great as well because he can play techno on guitar and Ive never heard that before him.Its just that Bucket tends to noodle around a lot and it loses feeling.I vote for finck.

Even thou I really love Bucket's solo(s) during Chinese Democracy and Finck's solo(s) during The Blues, I would have to say fortus because he just plays the shit out of everything classic or new. :rockon:

i hate how finck plays with his legs.. its really annoying.. i mean it doesn't even look remotely good on any level..

i don't think he used to do that with NIN, i dunno why he starts doing it now
