I feel sorry for all you people that are trying so hard to hold on to something that has long since died. I know that a lot of you want to hold on to a part of your youth but this is rediculous. Look at Axl and LISTEN to him. He is not the same. The voice and the looks are long since gone. This album has been worked on forever and listen to what we got. If your honest with yourselves you can see how blatantly obvious it is that the material is dated before it will even be released. No new ground has been broken. Maybe it hasn't been released because AXL himself knows that he's lost it. He's 44 now. That kind of singing style is for young guys or some freak of nature like Steven Tyler. AXL never had the vocal ability that is required for longevity. He had voice problems in his heyday and now this falceto voice with these songs sound rediculous. I loved Guns in the day, but that is long gone. Just appreciate the fact that we were around to see the real Guns in our lifetime and not desecrate that memory with this sorry version of it. It's time to move on. Let some other young kid who we've yet to hear provide us with something NEW and exciting.

His voice is fine for being in his mid 40's. When he was younger he had a lot more power than he does now. His head voice and chest voice were also much better in his younger days. His voice is still pretty good IMO. I know it's not as good but it's not terrible.

gnr its, axl, slash, izzy, duff, and steven and that its something that no one of you can change, the new gunners are just amazing, presonally im a big fan of robin fink since he was in NIN, and the new gnr material its also great, and as a new band (and that is exactly what it is) they kick ass.

the only similarities are the name, axl and dizzy.
you are just a bunch of kids who not even appear in this world when gnr rules the world and this is something that u most know.

if they did they wouldn't be here or any other forums and wouldnt be waiting patiently for the new album and they wouldn't be excited to see axl and the band when they do concerts.

I.R.S.-Axl vs. EX-Guns
Oh My God-frustration
Silkworms-frustration
Madagascar-reflection on the past, and realizing you may have done things wrong in the past, but it is the past and you must move on. at the end, Finck sings this:

which shows Axl finding self gradification/acceptence and the will to move on from the past (something you should try, Gunner89
