any noe know of any good recording software it has to be free tough i have no money at the min but i need to write and record a demo a friend of mine at college has accses to a studio he will let me use free if he likes my demo and put me on his college record label

Umm...there is something called Cubase. It costs a bomb though, but I'm sure you can get it for free somewhere ;)

Bit Torrent Site

To use it, you'll need something like Bit Lord (www.download.com and search for Bit Lord).

Other than that, Windows Movie Maker does the job fine.

Audacity rules, its what i use for recording at my house. You can plug it in with all the vst pluggins that cubase can use - so rock on.

yeah only little thing is that those VST things are fucking lame.. at least in my opinnion

but audacity is still good program
