It's set in American after a war where China dropped nuclear bombs and kill most of the peopel and destroied the country. You survive because your dad brought you up in an underground vault but then you go outside and there's mutants and ghoulds and stuff. Huge map too.

actually it was 'mr burke' after the character william burke who was named after the 19th century serial killer william burke of the burke and hare murders.
