Oh man was this great.

First, CKY blah blah blah... they were ok and played from 7:30-8:10. Talked alot about cleveland and how we were at a "Guns n f**k**g Roses concert, so get pumped up"

Mix Master Mike (8:30-9:10)
He had an impressive set, but too many old gnr fans hated any hip hop in the set, and i dont blame em. Lots of Led Zeppelin and stuff though, not too bad.

10:05-12:20
Great set... Band was on all night. I dont remember the exact set list, but it was mixed up in order a bit. Chinese Democracy second last, blues later than normal. One solo each for buckethead and finck, except encore when finck started. Crowd loved finck and bhead, fortus too on songs, big applause for solos. Axl had eddie george jersey to start... then tim couch, then indians generic. LOTS of rants

1st: About the jersey thing, he did that high voice about why he wore them, to be popular and stuff, and said fuckem he did cuz he did, just cuz
2nd: guy in front row wasn't dancing, so axl got on his belly and elbows on stage, and talked to "steve" for a minute about how much fun he was having. Axl got him goin and it was a big laugh. Axl was in a great mood.
3rd: Axl said he saw on the news about the columbus riots about the ohio state game, about how some girl said it was like the movies and shit (if you dont' know, they flipped 15 cars, had huge fires and stuff) and said the jersey was fitting for him. then he said how its not his style to riot or start them, and it wasn't natural for him. Big laughter from crowd.
4th: He announced sound engineer was from cleveland, so if he fucked up, it was our fault (but he did a great job on axls vocal level).

Show was huge hit, lots of applause for new songs, place was about 2/3 full but you couldn't tell. Id say about 9000 people. Lady next to me passed out after mmm and was taken out between sets. No real reason, but she did. Merch was the same, security not too tight. HOpefully someone got the show on tape, it was great. ALso, the big screens were all close ups of the band, not really any video style. That was behind brain on different video screens (dont know if that was new). High points were rocket queen, nightrain, and PC, which all were hit perfectly on solos and vocals. Overall, best concert ive ever been to. NO the ex-GNR lead guitarist chants, etc. Crowd was wild as all hell. Time for bed.
