The fill in on drums was good... the setlist was great although I was sort of shocked at the absence of Rocket Queen. Axl seemed energetic and very upbeat. There was not the tense, maybe Axl will leave at any minute, type of vibe that I have felt at the previous GNR shows. Axl seems to have mellowed or matured or something over the past few years and is now having a lot more fun by the looks of it. I hope that he continues to perform on this level because the audience was blown away by him tonight and I hope he is able to do that to crowds for years to come. His sense of humour was great, at one point near the end of the show saying "Well, I thought we had only one more, but these guys want to do a couple others, so whatever... you know, band harmony and all that shit".
Anyhow... I think that Axl silenced his critics in the Stockholm newspapers with tonight's strong performance.
