Firstly I'd like to say great job on the site, amazing referance point for
any gnr fan and it is now my home page!
As for the show 'OH MY GOD!!!!', this is the greatest show ive ever seen in
my life, GNR arrived on stage 10 minutes early!, strange but i wasnt
complaining. From the opening 'DO YOU KNOW WHERE THE F!*K YOU ARE?' i was
enthralled, cant remember the setlist in order but the reviews sound
accurate besides the fact that they played 'the blues' (amazing!). There
were a few idiots shouting for slash during the guitar solos and a few boos
when Axl announced 'technical problems' but what i found most amazing was
how Axl won over EVERYBODY, i was stood right at the front and the man just
controlled the crowd with his charismatic performance. The new tracks were
recieved really well and Axl hit all the right notes, 'better' sounded
awesome! My own personal highlight was 'Paradise City' which provoked a
crazy crush, managed to grab some confetti but not the mic i was hoping for!
They played for 2 hours 45 mins roughly? and Axl declared 'I dont wanna go
home!'.
I honestly don't believe i'll see a show as good again (roll on
manchester!), Bach and Izzy were immense (when izzy came out, my sunglasses
got smashed:( but it was worth it). The only song i really wanted to hear
was 'catcher in the rye' but hey i guess can wait til september (ish haha).
