Security was excellent about removing the wads from the show though so the rest of us could enjoy. 

 

Anyway, Sundays show was again a great performance.  It didn't match the magical night that Saturdays show was but it was a close second.  I think it was really just the difference in the crowd and again I'm not sure if the long wait caused tempers to flare or not but there was anger in the air. 

 

Axl sounded flawless again and looked like he was in all his glory and was having a kick ass time.  The band is extremely entertaining and talented.  Richard Fortus has this move where he brings his left arm up high and slams it down on the strings it's cool to watch, hell he's cool to watch.  Robin is all over the stage and you have to think he would be fun to party with, he seems to love the fans.  Bumblefoot is amazing with the guitar.  I was absolutely awed with his playing.  The new GNR lineup will make all GNR fans love them.  I'm very confident of that.  I love Slash, still love Slash, but I will no longer be pineing for the return of the old band.  I'm excited to see what these guys put out and to hear the new album.  GNR is back bigger and better than ever. 

 

There was only one change in the songs from the two shows.  Saturday they played Rocket Queen.  Sunday they didn't play Rocket Queen but played Used to Love Her instead.  Also, on Sundays show Axl said he asked Izzy to join them in Vegas but he was in the desert somewhere vacationing and enjoying himself but Axl said he was in good spirits.  So it leads me to believe that he will be playing with them in upcoming concerts.
